Ghost

This is a screen print, but not one single screen print, but made up of lots of single components, repeatedly printed on top of each other to build up the whole image. Because if this it was a hard edition to complete, and each print slightly different in layout.

I love this print but it has never sold well through my galleries, perhaps it is the rats, obviously not everybody’s favourite critter. But for me it is my childhood on the farm, we used to scare each other with tales of ancient ghosts that roamed the woods from the long barrows nearby.

So rats must have ghosts too! And here is the rat ghost waiting in the woods to scare any passing living rat!
